Little Dragons training (ages 4-8 and 9-13) is offered Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, from 5:30-6:30. (Doors open at 5:25) Come as often as you like we offer unlimited class attendance throughout the year.

 

 "Dragon" Information

 

To become a member you must first call (412) 221-4364 and schedule your 2 week introductory course. The intro course includes a meeting with the academy director (1) private lesson,  academy T shirt, and (2) weeks unlimited training.

 

I am often asked can we watch a class? Watching the Martial Arts is fine. But in order to know whether this is something they enjoy and want to continue they must experience it, they must try it. Our intro provides both the parent and child the opportunity to review our academy's program before becoming a member.

Testing, Certification: is conducted on the last Thursday of February, May, August, and November from 5:30 to 6:30. During this time students are eligible to certify their Beginner, Novice, Intermediate, or Advanced level. Upon successful completion of each level, students will receive their new Rank Certification. Parents-guests are welcome to attend; no videotaping allowed. Students should arrive at 5:25.

Additional Training: “Boards Don’t Hit Back” Breaking Clinic, The Art of Breaking builds confidence and instills a sense of accomplishment.                                                                                                Dragon Black Belt Levels: Over an (18) month period students are eligible to complete one Black Belt Level. As they continue to improve their existing material, they will learn additional material not required over the previous period. Each level is divided into 4 pre-tests represented by a stripe. Pretests are conducted during the regularly scheduled Thursday session. Once students have received (4) stripes they are eligible to test their next Black Belt Level. All Black Belt Level tests are conducted during a special Saturday session from 10:00am-12:00pm. The levels are as follows
